From 2017, the ELC has been invited to act as a centre for the Uniting Church SA Environmental Action Group.
Established in 2014, the Environmental Action Group of the Synod of South Australia aims to foster a concern for the environment and to awaken the Uniting Church to the impact of climate change on the world.
The group consists of representatives involved in environmental advocacy from congregations and faith communities across the Uniting Church in South Australia.
Its activities include education, advocacy, research and proposing practical responses for congregations and individuals.
The Environmental Action Group is also willing to offer workshops or speaking engagements for congregations and faith communities.
