ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM 2023 – BRINGING LIFE TO WORDS

Do you write poetry? Perhaps you’ve written one or two poems, but they rest in a dark drawer. Or perhaps you’d like to try writing poetry. This workshop/playshop, with award-winning poet Jude Aquilina, is for new poets and published poets, at all levels of experience. Jude’s workshops are about ‘having fun with words’ and catching a poem or two along the way. Let your creative side out for an afternoon of poetic pleasure and wordsmithing.  Everyone can write poetry, Jude says, This workshop will cover various styles of poetry, along with tips on generating ideas, and on editing and publishing your work. This workshop is loaded with entertaining writing exercises. Sharing our writing in a supportive and encouraging environment will be part of the learning experience.  When did writing poetry become so much fun?
