Progressive Christianity Forum – Jenni Hughes – Worship: The progressive edge of theology
Join us on 1 August to hear Rev Jenni Hughes speak about Worship: The progressive edge of theology.
Jenni will explore how worship shapes our faith and vice versa. Jenni writes, “Worship shapes our faith, and our faith shapes our worship. Often the first place we articulate a new understanding – whether of God, ourselves, or all humanity and life – is in our worship.”
Jenni is the newly appointed Executive Officer for Mission Resourcing in the Uniting Church Synod of SA. With over 20 years of congregational ministry experience, including 13 years as the Coordinator for the Centre for Music, Liturgy, and the Arts, Jenni brings a wealth of knowledge in diverse worship settings. She has served on various church task groups and is an Adjunct Lecturer in Liturgy and Worship with Uniting College.
Come and explore how elements of worship can invite reconsideration of faith and push the edges of our theology. Join us in this insightful session to deepen your understanding and experience of worship.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 concession or $5 live stream and bookings are now open through Humanitix.
